What you will learn: Participants will learn the fundamentals of installing pavers and retaining walls. This class will cover components of installation including: base material, leveling pad, edge restraints, joint sand, aggregates, etc. Additionally, the class will highlight the basics of compaction, drainage, leveling a base course, and optimal grades. Class reviews tips on getting started, assessing a site, estimating your first wall and having the right tools and equipment. (English and Spanish classes)

What you will learn: Tailor your sales presentation based upon the findings of a study conducted by Anchor Wall Systems, which surveyed over 200 customers who recently had hardscape projects installed at their home. This fun and engaging workshop is designed to help you understand how customers, who are often women, choose colors, products and make other buying decisions.
Advanced Hardscape / Raised Patio
Who should attend: Experienced Hardscape professionals looking to stay ahead in the industry
What you will learn: Designed for contractors looking for ideas on building high-end features to maximize creativity and profit. Seminar includes installation details and a hands-on demonstration, constructing a free-standing wall with column and step applications. Program will simulate a raised patio application; participants will construct an actual patio, shoot grades, build inside and outside radii, and cover associated paver installations. Beauty Shots and Design Concepts

What you will learn: Seminar shares the principles of landscape design and how to incorporate them into everyday hardscapes and softscapes. Program will feature actual designs and photos and lead participants through a discussion or how the designs were created and considerations that factored into each creation.

What you will learn: This program will guide participants through discussions of successful business practices. The program will focus on constructing bid, production times (past, present, and future), job-tracking, and building effective contracts. ICPI Paver Installer Certification
Who should attend: Contractors, sales reps and design professionals who wish to obtain their ICPI Paver Installer Certification.
What you will learn: Upon completion of this 1.5-day course, participants will have an understanding of paver installation, improve their market awareness, and gain insights in how to maximize their business from the bidding process through jobsite layout. The class concludes with an exam for participants to become certified paver installers by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) ***Fee of $195 for ICPI members ($250 for non-members) applies for those taking the certification exam.
NCMA SRW Certification
Who should attend: Contractors, sales reps and design professionals who wish to obtain their NCMA SRW Certification.
What you will learn: The Level 1 Segmental Retaining Wall (SRW) Installer Education Program is structured for all employees involved in SRW installation. The class provides fundamental instruction on minimum installation guidelines, material and system component properties, soils and compaction, site practices and equipment selection. Those successfully completing the classroom seminar and passing a written exam will receive a certification for NCMA Level 1 SRW Installers. *** Fee of $125 required for taking certification exam.

Retaining Wall Estimating Tools
